Proposed Plan Change 16 – Micah Properties Ltd
The Hurunui District Council has accepted a request for a private plan change to the Hurunui District Plan from Micah Properties Limited, Hanmer Springs.
Proposed Private Plan Change 16 seeks to:

Extend the Hanmer Springs Management Area to the west, up to the line of the Chatterton River.

Include the land described as Sec 75 Hanmer Tship Blk 1 Lyndon SD in an extended Residential Management Area to be zoned Residential G.

The hearing was held in Amberley on 21 and 22 July 2009.
Decision
The decision was publicly notified on 2 September 2009. Any person who made a submission on the plan change may appeal the Council’s decision to the Environment Court within 30 working days of receipt of the notice of decision. The procedure for lodging an appeal is set out in Clause 14 of the First Schedule to the Resource Management Act (1991). The appeal must be set out as per Form 7 in the regulations to the Act.
