Proposed Plan Change 20 – Financial Contributions for Upgrade of Argelins Road/Woodbank Road/SH7A Intersection

The Hurunui District Council proposes Plan Change 20 to the Hurunui District Plan.  Proposed Plan Change 20 introduces a specific rule to ensure developers will pay a fair portion of the costs of the Argelins Rd/ Woodbank Rd/ SH7A intersection upgrade. The contribution is to be levied on each additional allotment created within the Hanmer Springs ward, until such time as the intersection upgrade has been fully paid for, which is anticipated to be by 2019. 

The proposed Plan Change, the Section 32 Report and the submission forms are available at any Council Service Centre and Library located at Amberley, Cheviot, Culverden and Hanmer Springs, or can be downloaded as below. 

Call for further submissions

The Summary of Decisions Requested and Submissions is being publicly notified on 3 October 2009.

Any person may make a further submission in support or opposition to a submission on this Plan Change.  Submissions must be in writing and in the prescribed form (Form 6) in the Resource Management (Forms) Regulations 1991 or similar.  Forms are also available from the Council Offices listed above.

Submissions should be sent to the Hurunui District Council, PO Box 13, Amberley 7441.

The closing date for further submissions is 30 October 2009 at 5.00pm.
