Operative Plan Change 20 – Financial Contributions for Upgrade of Argelins Road/Woodbank Road/SH7A Intersection

Plan Change 20 became operative on 10 March 2010.  Plan Change 20 introduces a specific rule to ensure developers will pay a fair portion of the costs of the Argelins Rd/ Woodbank Rd/ SH7A intersection upgrade. The contribution is to be levied on each additional allotment created within the Hanmer Springs ward, until such time as the intersection upgrade has been fully paid for, which is anticipated to be by 2019. 

Decision

The hearing was held in Amberley on Wednesday 9 December 2009.  The recommendations of the hearings panel which amended the proposed change were adopted by Council on 17 December 2009. The decision was open to appeal for 30 days.
