Question 1 I have been trying to view some of the pdf files from your site. Most of them however seen to load and then close themselves again immediately.
Answer This appears to be a common issue with Adobe reader. The following should resolve the issue: 1. Open Adobe Reader 2. Click on Edit then Preferences 3. Select the Internet tab under categories and put a tick in the "Display PDF in browser' Option 4. Click OK and close adobe, reopen Internet Explorer and the PDF should show in an IE windows Print screen option
Question 2 PDF files don't open in the Internet Explorer browser window.
When you install Acrobat or Adobe Reader on a system that includes a browser, you automatically configure the browser to open PDF files within the browser window. Acrobat and Adobe Reader install ActiveX plug-in files that allow you to use Internet Explorer to open PDF files. If either application is installed, but PDF files don't open in the browser window, work through the following steps to configure the browser.
Check MS Explorer Configuration: 1. Start Internet Explorer. 2. Choose Tools > Manage Add-ons... 3. Make sure that "Adobe PDF" is included in the list of add-ins and that it is enabled. If it is not in the list you may need to reinstall Acrobat or Adobe Reader - see http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/knowledgebase/index.cfm?id=331025 for more details.
Check Acrobat or Adobe Reader configuration: 1. Quit Internet Explorer. 2. Start Acrobat or Adobe Reader. 3. Choose Edit > Preferences. 4. Select Internet in the list on the left. 5. Make sure "Display PDF in Browser" is checked, and then click OK. 6. Restart Internet Explorer. If you are still having can not display PDF documents within MS Explorer, in-depth trouble shooting is available on-line at http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/knowledgebase/index.cfm?id=331025
