23 May 2017: HWP Information
The following information about the Hurunui Water Project (HWP) proposal is provided here as further background for those interested in this issue. There are four documents:

16 May 2017: Reminder - Submissions close Sunday 28 May
If you want to have your say about the Annual Plan or the Fees and Charges for the 2017/18 year, remember that submissions close on Sunday 28 May. So, get your thoughts to us before then; by email to - by writing to Annual Plan Submissions, Hurunui District Council, PO Box 13, Amberley 7441 or by dropping your submission into a Council Service Centre or Library.

27 April 2017: Consultation Document released
Council approved the Annual Plan Consultation Document for release, along with a number of financial documents. You are invited to peruse these documents and, if you wish, to make a submission on the plans for next year.  

13 April 2017: Proposed Fees and Charges for 2017/18
We have reviewed the fees and charges for the coming year.  Before we confirm these, you have the opportunity to comment on the draft fees and charges if you oppose or support any in particular.  The fees are used to cover the cost of those services that are not solely funded through rates, but unlike general business practice, we do not intend making a profit.  If you do wish to comment on the proposed fees and charges, please email to: by 28 May.
