Proposed Hurunui District Plan
Giving effect to the Proposed District Plan
The Council has received six appeals on the Decisions Version of the Proposed Plan. The chapters directly affected are 3, 5, 7, 11, 12, 13, 15, 17 and 20. In accordance with Section 86F of the Resource Management Act, any rules not affected by an appeal are treated as operative (and any previous rules in the 2003 Operative Plan are inoperative). Note however, that rules may be affected by an appeal even if not directly appealed. Therefore, while identification of the provisions under appeal can provide general guidance as to which rules will or will not be treated as operative by the Council, is not definitive. For further advice please call or email the Duty Planner on 03 314 8816 or email@example.com.
