Formal Consultation commences

Council has just approved the Consultation Document for the current Long Term Plan. The document is available as a download here or from your  Council Library or Service Centre. The Consultation Document outlines the issues that are facing the Council and our proposals for dealing with them. We invite you to read the document and make a submission for Council to consider.

Long Term Plan timetable

6 April 2018 - Consultation Document published - consultation period commences.

6 May 2018 - Consultation period ends

15-16 May 2018 - Long Term Plan hearings held

28 June 2018 - Revised Long Term Plan adopted by Council

Council is currently working on its Long Term Plan for the 2018-2028 period. Starting this month we will be holding community meetings in each of the district's wards. This is an opportunity for you to come along, see what we have planned and tell us what you would like your Council to be thinking about.
