District Reserves Management Plan Review
What are the plans for your local parks and reserves?
Most of the reserves and recreational spaces within the Hurunui District have management plans, but times change and many of these plans no longer reflect the actual usage. The District Reserves Management Plan covers all council owned and administered recreation reserves and was adopted three years ago. We are now reviewing the Plan and are very keen to receive your written feedback on the current plans and policies, as well as to hear your ideas regarding potential development priorities for the future.
Once all of the feedback has been received, an updated draft District Reserves Management Plan will be prepared. You will then have another opportunity to comment on the content of the draft. This will be publicly notified later this year.
