On-call casual - Hurunui Memorial Library, Amberley

This is an opportunity to work in the vibrant Hurunui Memorial Library in Amberley and to be part of a team that is dedicated to the on-going development of a dynamic library system.  

We are looking for a can-do, customer-focussed, positive and enthusiastic person to give us a hand from time to time – often at short notice. Outstanding customer service skills are essential as are computer skills. Previous library experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.

Utilities Team Leader

We are looking for a vibrant person with strong leadership skills to develop this newly created position. Ideally, you will be an experienced team leader or manager with a can-do attitude who strives for service excellence and can engender strong teamwork.  The Hurunui is a large, rural district with an extensive utilities infrastructure.  Water is supplied through 13 water schemes (seven rural and six township) and sewerage through seven schemes.  Our ultimate goal is for healthy, clean water and environmentally sustainable sewerage schemes and stormwater outlets.

The Hurunui district has many attractions, including our internationally acclaimed Hanmer Springs Hot Pools and Spa.
