What are the plans for your local parks and reserves? Have your Say!
Most of the reserves and recreational spaces within the Hurunui District have management plans, but times change and many of these plans no longer reflect the actual usage.
The Draft Reserves Management Plan is a document which covers all council owned and administered reserves. It was originally adopted four years ago but the Hurunui District Council has now reviewed and made changes to this document. They are very keen to receive your written feedback on the current plans and policies, as well as to hear your ideas regarding potential development priorities for the future.
We encourage you to let us know what you think, whether you support the draft plan or not. Make sure your written objection or suggestion arrives with us before 5.00pm Monday 15 October 2012 by:
- submitting online; or
- sending your submission to Hurunui District Council, PO Box 13 Amberley 7441; or
- emailing your submission to email@example.com.
You can view a copy of the draft plan and pick up a submission form at any council library or service centre during ordinary office hours, or download these.
Once all of the feedback has been received, an opportunity to speak to your submission will be given so please indicate whether you would like to be heard in support of your objection or comment.
