Resident Surveys
Hurunui District Council with help of by Opinions Market Research Ltd has completed and annual Residents Survey since 2007.
Comparisons are made with earlier survey findings where relevant.
Hurunui District Council is committed to delivering a high level of service to the community. To this end, an annual survey is completed to measure and monitor:
- Community satisfaction with Council performance and the services provided.
- Council performance in relation to the Hurunui Long Term Council Community Plan (LTCCP), Community Outcomes and the District Plan.
- In addition, to provide context and relativity, a comparison of performance between Hurunui District Council and Council’s in other similar rural areas is included.
The overall objective of this research is:
To provide an annual measure of resident and ratepayer satisfaction with the Council
and the services it provides in relation to key performance measures, the LTCCP 2009
– 2019, Community Outcomes and the District Plan, that can be utilised to inform
and enhance Council performance long term.
