Waipara Memorial Hall
- Corner of Johnston Street and Ferguson Avenue.
The hall has been assessed to have low earthquake strength but not low enough to shut the building down. There are notices on the front doors and other prominent places throughout the halls to inform the public.
The hall was built in 1953 by members of the community and the war memorial plaque lists the fallen in both World Wars.

Conditions of hire:
Anyone wanting to hire a Hall for a function, event etc. involving more than 100 people will need to complete a separate Fire Evacuation Plan that is then forwarded to the Fire Service for notification.
