Planned water shutdowns

Why do we need to shut down water schemes?

From time to time, with little or no notice, a water scheme needs to be shut down for a short period of time. This occurs for a variety of reasons, for example:

Our Utilities staff work around the clock where there is a need, to ensure that a continuous flow is maintained to your property.

The water may be turned back on at any time during work, please ensure all taps are turned off. Once water is restored, we advise that you run a cold tap for approximately 30 seconds, or until an even flow is achieved. (This is to remove any air that may have entered the pipework)

To report an issue  please contact our office on 03 314 8816 -24/7
