Hurunui 1 Rural Water Scheme - Tuesday 11 April 2017
As you will have been notified by Mainpower, there is a planned power outage today from 09.00 am to 04.00 pm. This will affect our davaar pumpshed so it will not be operating as usual. Our customers at the outer extremeties of the scheme may not return to normal until tomorrow. If you have any concerns, please conact us at the office 314 8816

Maskells Road pumpshed is undergoing maintenance today, and will be shut down until approximately 3 pm.
Leithfield Beach water shut down notice
- Wednesday 29 March 2017
- 9am to 3pm
Water will be shut off to the Leithfield Beach residents to time and date above, install 8 water metres.
This is phase one of the on- demand water connection update.
Once water is restored please run your outside taps for a few minutes to get rid of any air in the line.

Why do we need to shut down water schemes?
From time to time, with little or no notice, a water scheme needs to be shut down for a short period of time. This occurs for a variety of reasons, for example:
- Pipe failure
- Mechanical failure
