The Hurunui District Council is committed to the economic growth of our region and welcomes new business initiatives and commercial developments. We work closely with Enterprise North Canterbury, MSD and local businesses to provide and support local opportunities in our district. We also work alongside our youth to support them into employment via the MTFJ programme.
The Hurunui District Council provides a number of services to business - from food, alcohol and health certification and licensing, to building consents, resource consents, water, waste disposal and waste water.
