Monday
CLOSED during the school term, open the same hours as Wed/Fri during school holidays
Tuesday/Thursday
10.am Aquafit 11am – 1pm Adults only lane swimming / jogging
1pm – 6pm Open Public Session
6pm Aquafit
7pm – 8.30pm Adults only lane swimming / jogging
Wednesday/Friday
11am – 1pm Adults only lane swimming / jogging
1pm – 6pm Open Public Session
Weekends:
11am - 6pm Open Public Session
Notices & Information
- We will be holding adult and children’s swimming lessons and coaching sessions in term four - dates are to be confirmed. To register - Click Here More Information - amberley.pool@hurunui.govt.nz
- Sometimes the pool has private bookings, swimming lessons or fitness classes on. Check the Amberley Pool Calendar to see if there are events or classes happening before heading down.
- Membership Programme: Expressions of Interest are now open for the 2023/24 season. Closing Date: 12pm - noon, Monday 11 September. This year there are more places and three options:

* Note: evening sessions are at a reduced fee due to Tuesdays and Thursdays having Aquafit classes in the pool until 6.45pm, and the public (adults) have access between 7pm- 8.30pm. Learn to swim classes may also use a lane or two on some early evenings.
- Adults’ Public Session Season Pass. This is a new option for 2023/24 season – no membership required (i.e. no health & safety inductions or requirement to take pool covers on and off, or to assist with cleaning etc). This Pass provides unlimited access to all of our open-to-the-public (lifeguarded) sessions – including two evening sessions. The cost is for $180 ($155 gold card).

Supervision of children
- Children under five years old must be within arms reach and under constant supervision by a responsible caregiver over the age of 16 years in the pool at all times.
- Children between the ages of five and seven (inclusive) must be actively supervised by a responsible caregiver over the age of 16 years who is to be within the pool area at all times and able to provide immediate assistance.
