Eligibility
- A long period of exceptional service by a resident of the district
- Community service for which there has been no direct financial reward
- Joint awards, e.g. Husband and wife are acceptable
Confidentiality
Nominations will remain confidential until approved by Council and agreement by the recipients to accept their awards.

| Nominations for the 2026 Awards have now closed.

The Awards will be presented at a special ceremony on a date to be advised.
- A maximum of one Award is sought from each council community per year with the exception of the South Ward who will present two Awards.
- In the event of more than one nomination from a community the Community Committee or Board will select the successful nominees from their area. If more than two nominations are received from the Amberley community the South Ward Community Board will select the successful nominees. Councillors will then approach the successful nominees and seek their approval to accept the award.
- The full Council approves the final nominees.
