Libby Reads with Jacqueline Bublitz (NZ book club)
Libby Reads with Jacqueline Bublitz is a new monthly online book club for New Zealand that features national authors and titles each month.
- The featured title can be borrowed on Libby for free and with no wait from your participating local library.
- Then, register on the website, to join the free virtual event on Zoom hosted by author Jacqueline Bublitz for a discussion with the featured title's author each month.

Craft with Toni Early from The Craft Room
Come and join Toni Early from The Craft Room and 'paint a pot' or make 'egg carton flowers'.

My Grand Art Competition
Who can enter?
All ages
How to enter
Create an artwork of your grandparent/s, or inspired by your grandparent/s, on A4 sized paper or card (sketch, drawing, painting, collage). Drop off at your local Hurunui District Library.
Prizes
Winners in each age group (5–8, 9–12, 13-18, and Adult 19+)
Winners’ artwork will be on display at the Hurunui District Libraires following the competition.
Entries close: Tuesday 20th October
