Author Talk and Poetry Workshop
Join poet and book editor Loredana Podolska-Kint to hear the story behind the successful poetry fundraiser book, The Poetical Lobe, an upcoming anthology of poetry about the brain and neurological conditions. Followed by a bespoke workshop for creating medically-inspired poetry to be incorporated in Volume 2 of the project.

Libby Reads with Jacqueline Bublitz (book club)
Libby Reads with Jacqueline Bublitz is a new monthly online book club for New Zealand that features national authors and titles each month.
- The featured title can be borrowed on Libby for free and with no wait from your participating local library.
- Then, register on the website, to join the free virtual event on Zoom hosted by author Jacqueline Bublitz for a discussion with the featured title's author each month.

Matariki hosted by Canterbury Museum
Come along and meet educators from Canterbury Museum and learn about the meanings and importance of Matariki. Explore hands-on objects connected to the stars of Matariki and make a wish to Hiwa-e-te-Rangi by writing your hopes and dreams for the coming year on a card feather.
