| Amberley Transfer Station - 52 Grays Road, Amberley - 03 314 7778 Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday - 10am - 4pm Saturday 10am - 1pm Out of hours recycling for paper, card, cans, plastic bottles and containers (under 4 litres) 1,2, and 5 and glass bottles provided. Lids, soft plastics, commercial recycling and large cardboard boxes are not accepted via the out of hours recycling. | ||

Is there anything not accepted at Hurunui transfer Stations?
- Commercial volumes of polystyrene (volumes limited to a small domestic trailer).
- Medical waste and needles.
- Hazardous waste unless listed.
- Hot ashes. Cold ashes must be inspected on arrival.
- Large bundles of wire; if bringing small volumes of wire to the transfer stations, notify staff on arrival for inspection.
- Commercial volumes of tyres.
- Sealed drums or containers.
- Asbestos or products containing asbestos, these can be disposed of via EcoDrop in Bromley; contact 03 941 8999 for further information.
- Tree stumps.
Commercial waste operators, skips, demolition and cleanfill is accepted at Amberley transfer station only.
