Duty Building Officer services

From Monday 3 November 2025, Duty Building Officer (DBO) services will be as follows:

• Duty Building Officer services (phone and drop-in): 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
• Pre-booked counter enquiries: Afternoon slots (booked the previous day).
• Phone calls to processing officers: 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

FAQs

Q: I visit the Council office during the afternoon and want to speak to the DBO?

A: Building officers are available only in the mornings (8:00 am – 12:00 pm).

Q: I can only meet a DBO in the afternoon?

A: You can book an afternoon appointment for the next day, or later.

Q: I want to talk to a Processing Officer before 3:00 pm?

A: Please leave a message/text or call back after 3:00 pm.
